Waterboro students recently wrapped up a Go2Science unit about Indigenous history on the Maine islands. Through hands-on activities, maps, stories, and guided inquiry, students examined different artifacts discovered on site and tried to determine their age. This unit helped them build a deeper appreciation for the ongoing presence of Indigenous communities in Maine.
