Experience: Alex Tranchemontagne became the LearningWorks Afterschool Site Director in Saco after serving as a Learning Works Teacher in Waterboro for over six years. During those years, he also worked in public education in various roles from Librarian to Classroom Teacher. Alex graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a degree in Communications and a minor in Educational Studies. Alex is a lifelong learner and hopes to help students find their passion for learning as well. In his free time, Alex loves to travel with his family, whether it is driving to Canada or taking a plane to Japan. He also loves animals - especially his corgi, Pascal.
