Experience: While I have been given every opportunity in life, I come from a part of Maine where that is not necessarily the case for everyone. I serve because I believe that the concepts of learning and success are not "one size fits all." I have seen the power of mentorship and customized learning for youth and adults alike, and it is important to me to advance and promote the programs offered by LearningWorks in my home state.

Education: Jessamyn is currently a Senior Managing Director at Clearstead Trust in Portland. Clearstead is a wealth manager for individuals, families, and institutions. Previously, Jessamyn was the Chief Investment Officer and a Principal at Spinnaker Trust. Before joining Spinnaker in 2011, Jessamyn managed Emerging Markets equities at Fidelity Management and Research and was a research associate covering European and International small-cap equities at Wellington Management Company, LLP. She earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in economics and writing from Wheaton College (MA). Jessamyn is also a CFA charterholder and the current President of the CFA Society of Maine. A native of Hollis, Maine, Jessamyn lives with her husband and two daughters in Falmouth.
