
Leslie Tremberth

Experience:
Interim Executive Director Leslie Tremberth (she/her/hers) joined LearningWorks in January 2023. Leslie grew up in Scarborough and returned to Maine in 2013 after stints living in Montana, Washington D.C. and Boston. Most recently, she has served as a consultant and advisor to a variety of nonprofit organizations with a focus on strategic planning, organizational development and culture. She is also an experienced executive and leadership coach. Previously, she managed large scale consulting projects on behalf of federal and state clients related to the Affordable Care Act and long-term recovery from Hurricane Katrina, among other things. Her community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors of HopeActs and as an Advisor for the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute. She holds a B.A. in Humanities from Providence College and completed her coaching training through the Co-Active Training Institute. When not working, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time outdoors with her lovable hound dog, Chip.
