Half-Time Membership Application
Application for Aim High Half-Time AmeriCorps Member
This application is for a 900-hour Half-Time AmeriCorps position. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis or until all positions are filled.
The average hours per week required to complete 900 hours of service varies depending on when members begin and end their service. A Half-Time member who serves August 2021 through August 2022 will average 23 hours per week. A Half-Time member who serves for only one semester will average 40 hours per week.

Applicants must be 17 or older, be eligible to work in the United States, have US citizenship or lawful permanent residency, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. (High school diploma not required if currently enrolled in high school and expecting to graduate within a year of completing service.)
Service is contingent upon an interview, selection process, and criminal background check.

Most members serve for our full program year, but some choose to complete their term earlier. For how long are you hoping to commit to AmeriCorps service?

Aim High's Half-Time AmeriCorps members support schools by tutoring students in math, literacy, and other subjects. Service with students can be one-on-one, in small groups, through classroom support with a teacher, or during after school activities.
